Privacy & DignityNorthern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recognises that patients and the public want their privacy and dignity respected, particularly whilst they are in hospital. Privacy & Dignity PolicyThis policy has been put together as a result of work to ensure we deliver single sex accommodation and as a direct result of patient feedback. Patients expect excellent care and delivering this for every patient every time is the aim of the Trust quality strategy “Simply the Best”. To achieve this we know that we need to address any inconsistencies in; the quality of care we provide, staff behaviour and in the quality of the facilities. We aim to provide every patient with a high standard of privacy and dignity when they are being treated and ensure patients are able to discuss sensitive and embarrassing conditions with a stranger without difficulty.
