The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They regulate, check and inspect our services.

On the CQC website you can check view the current rating of your local hospital and read past inspection reports.

Intelligent Monitoring reports

In response to the Francis Inquiry, the Care Quality Commission have reviewed and overhauled the process for monitoring and regulating organisations. All organisations will be monitored to ensure the services they deliver are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led, and the process will use a broad range of qualitative and quantitative data.

Intelligent Monitoring reports provide CQC, Trusts and the public with an overview of how organisations are progressing.
