Surveillance

We participate in regular surveillance and monitoring of the Trust’s infection rates. This means that our infection rates – particularly those for MRSA and Clostridium difficile are regularly measured by the Infection Control Team and fed back to the Health Protection Agency/Department of Health who compare our rates with those of other Trusts throughout the country.
