Introduction
The Integrated Community Equipment Service (formerly called the Home Loans Store) at Diana,
Princess of Wales Hospital provides a service to patients in the community who need special equipment in their
homes. Equipment can be loaned for short periods of time, e.g. after discharge from hospital, or for longer
periods for those who need more permanent help.
Equipment may be requested by District Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists. It
is provided either by the National Health Service or via Social Services funding. |
