Therapy services

Our therapy services provide care to patients both in hospital and out in the community.

Our  teams are made up of speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, podiatrists and dietitians.

Acute and short term teams provide a range of therapy assessments and treatment options to patients who are receiving inpatient care in one of our hospitals. The therapists may also continue to offer support to patients for a short period of time after leaving hospital when this is identified as best option for a patients care.

Core rehabilitation teams offer a range of therapy assessment and treatment options to patients with long term conditions such as stroke, arthritis, parkinson’s disease and includes: assessment for equipment and home adaptation, end of life care, rehabilitation and intermediate care.
