Places to eat
Visitors can grab a bite to eat at our restaurant and cafe as well as using the Feast Point vending services outside of the normal catering hours.
Nourish Restaurant
Located on the 1st Floor of the Tower Block, the Nourish restaurant is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 4pm on weekends and bank holidays.
It provides a spacious, light and relaxing space for staff and visitors alike to enjoy their down time and refresh. With breakfast served 7:30-10:30, the classic full English is available each day. It’s not all bacon and eggs though – a wide selection of pastries, yoghurts, fruit and coffees are available to suit all tastes and diets.
Our main menu has dishes to meet all dietary requirements with fresh cooked options and well rounded, nutritious meal over lunch and into the evening. Featuring British classics and dishes from around the world there’s always a dish to tempt you, with good food and a quiet space to nourish you during a busy day.
If you’re in a hurry, there’s a wide range of snack options to choose from that will get you through the day – hot grab and go options, crisps and fruit are available at all times. There’s a wide range of sandwiches ready for you to eat, or you can make your creation at our deli bar with a choice of fillings and toppings as well as salad bowls made just how you like them.
Nourish Café

You’ll find the cafe within the Women and Children’s Hospital. It’s open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and from 10am to 2pm on weekends and bank holidays. The cafe offers a relaxing place to unwind and have a well-earned break. Enjoy a coffee, a light lunch including jacket potatoes and other hot snacks or a quick treat to boost your energy levels.
Costa
You’ll also find a Costa Coffee in the main entrance. Opening hours are 7.30am to 8pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 6pm on weekends.
Shops
We have a WHSmith (open 7.30am to 7.30pm on weekdays and 9am to 7pm on weekends) and a Rowlands Pharmacy in the main entrance.
Toilets including Changing Places facilities
You’ll find toilets in the main entrance to the hospital, as well as in the Women and Children’s Hospital and in the Eye Hospital.

Changing Places facilities provide the additional space and extra equipment which are often needed by people with physical or learning disabilities, as well as those with debilitating conditions, to be able to use public toilets safely and comfortably.
These are located in the Emergency Department and within the Eye Hospital.
