People are invited to a festive Christmas carol service by candlelight organised by the chaplaincy department at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
The event will be held on Wednesday December 4 at 5.30pm at St Lawrence Church, Church Lane, Scunthorpe, DN15 7AB.
The festive event will include an assortment of well-known traditional carols and songs performed by a local folk group, as well as Bible readings.
Hospital staff and their families, volunteers, patients and members of the public are all welcome to attend.
The service will be led by hospital chaplain, the Revd Harry Smart, and St Lawrence’s Revd Sarah Tierney.
The Revd Smart said: “I would like to extend a warm welcome to people to join us in this festive celebration. You can be guaranteed a warm, family atmosphere with some popular Christmas carols. It is a really good way to begin to get into the festive spirit.”
