Feedback and surveys
There are a number of ways you can leave feedback about our services online. We appreciate you taking the time to do this and will endeavour to give praise where it is due and learn lessons where things go wrong.
The Friends and Family test
Within 48 hours of receiving care or treatment as an inpatient or visitor to A&E, patients are given the opportunity to answer the following question:
“How likely are you to recommend our ward/A&E department to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?”
They are then asked to answer how likely or unlikely along a six-point scale they would be to do that. There is also the opportunity to elaborate on the reasons for their answer and all feedback is encouraged whether positive or negative. Patients respond to the question on a postcard on discharge from hospital which they can place in a box on the ward, or take it home and post it back to the freepost address provided. NHS choices and Patient Opinion
On both these sites you can leave feedback about your local hospital, good or bad. If you’re comment requires a response the Trust can do this online.

You can also contact us via social media. If you are leaving a compliment we will pass this on to the ward/department you visited, if you have a concern you wish to raise we’ll do our best to get back to you with an answer quickly.
