The Safeguarding Team have a responsibility to make sure that all staff across the Trust know how to recognise safeguarding issues, abuse or neglect to children, young people and adults.
The team also make sure that staff are aware of the correct processes to follow in order to protect children, young people and adults. They do this by delivering training and offering advice, support and supervision to staff. The team also deliver training to all staff in relation to all aspects of safeguarding including domestic abuse and Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
