Mr Mathew Thomas is a Consultant urologist.
His qualifications include MBBS, MRCS, FRCS (uro).
Mr Thomas has been working as a consultant in North Lincolnshire since 2013 after completing his urology training in the Mersey region. In that time, he has been clinical lead of the Urology department, as well as the Divisional Medical Director for surgery. He currently is the Chief of Service for Speciality Surgery which includes urology services across the whole of the Humber.
He specialises in kidney stone treatment (endourology), urology cancer diagnosis, and benign prostate disorder management (including TURP and green light laser surgery). Additionally, he treats peno-scrotal disorders, bladder dysfunction (including bladder Botox injections, urinary tract infections, and cystitis). He also carries out various diagnostic investigations, such as cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy (including transperineal biopsies).
