Finding out information about relatives in hospital
If you're a relative and want to find out information about a patient in hospital, please contact switchboard in the first instance on 03033 306999 or the ward direct.
Share your feedback
There are a number of ways you can leave feedback about our services. We appreciate you taking the time to do this as it allows us to give praise where it is due and learn lessons where things go wrong.
If you are awaiting results, eg blood test results or the results of a scan then please note these are sent back to the referring doctor, so check with your GP. If it was one of our consultants that referred you please use the Appointments team contacts.

Please note – you need to have been in contact with a department that has agreed to take you on a placement first, before getting in touch with the team.

You can claim travel expenses via Cashiers. The Grimsby office is located near The Pink Rose Suite. It's best to call first before making a special journey. Opening days and the phone number is below. There are no offices at Scunthorpe or Goole hospitals. Alternatively, you can complete a HC5 form and post to Cashiers, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scartho Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN33 2BA, or email to the address below. You’ll also need to include a copy of your proof of benefit, appointment letters and bank details. Cashiers will process and make a payment to you by BACS.
