Mr Sakkaf Aftab is a Consultant Opthalmologist at Scunthorpe hospital.
He has the following qualifications: MBBS, MRCOphth (London), FRCS (Edinburgh) and a Fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retina ( Centre of Eye Research Australia)
He is a member of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, British and European Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Mr Aftab has a special interest in the management of age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusions, surgery for vitreoretinal problems (e.g. macular holes, epiretinal membrane, vitreous hemorrhage etc) and refractive cataract surgery.
