Two new appointments have been made to our Trust Board.
The Board consists of the Chairman, Chief Executive, Trust Secretary, Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors (NEDs).
NEDs and Associate NEDs are responsible for ensuring the Trust Board acts in the best interest of the public and patients. They act as a critical friend and hold the board to account.
The latest appointees, both local women, are a registered nurse and a HR professional.

Sue Liburd, from Lincoln, has been appointed as NED and Chair of the Workforce Committee. Sue is a Registered General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, and Midwife, and has over 20 years’ experience in Organisational Development, Innovation and Cultural Transformation. She is an experienced public, private and charity sector Non-Executive, Managing Director of Sage Blue Consulting and the Independent Chair of Lincolnshire Maternity and Neonatal Services.

Meanwhile Kate Truscott, from Hull, has been appointed as an Associate NED and is a highly experienced Human Resources professional at Executive and Non-Executive Board level, having held positions in NHS organisations across Yorkshire and Humberside and Lincolnshire. Kate holds senior positions in three Lincolnshire/ East Yorkshire Charities and is also Vice Chair of West Nottinghamshire College.
The appointments follow the departure of Mike Proctor, Michael Whitworth and Maneesh Singh who have all moved on to new opportunities.
