The services our Amethyst Unit provides
The unit provides the quality, privacy, and dignity our patients deserve, and is home to our:
- Haematology/oncology ward (Amethyst ward) and outpatient department
- Amethyst day case unit for chemotherapy treatments
- Rheumatology Ward (D1 Hazel) and rheumatology day case
- Rheumatology outpatients department.
It also has two dedicated garden areas within the unit so patients can sit in a relaxing environment while enjoying some fresh air. There is also a dedicated relatives room which means people can stay overnight and have their own ensuite facility.
