What we do
We loan out a wide range of equipment from walking sticks/frames, bath hoists and shower chairs to grabbers, specialist cushions, slide sheets and commodes. These specialist items are aids for daily living which can make a real difference to your life by helping you maintain your independence and ultimately stay in your own home for longer.
Equipment can be loaned for short periods of time, for example if you’ve just been discharged from hospital, or for longer periods if you need permanent help. Equipment can be requested by district nurses, occupational therapists or physiotherapists and is provided either by the NHS or via social services funding.
Please return any medical equipment you no longer need to us. All items are fully sterilised and cleaned before being loaned out to other patients.
