We work jointly with Hull University Teaching Hospitals to provide a comprehensive haematological service and have a dedicated team delivering a range of investigations, treatments and support services to patients.
Conditions treated include both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions (blood disorders) which often require complex treatments including chemotherapy. Multi-disciplinary team meetings are held weekly to review cases of patients who have hametological cancer.
Outpatient and day case appointments are held at Scunthorpe General Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital. Inpatient care is provided by Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust within the Queen’s Centre for Oncology and Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull.
The service actively participates in clinical trials.
