The Pain Management Service offers both acute and chronic pain services to patients across the region. We offer a multi-disciplinary, all-inclusive approach to helping you manage your pain. Our aim is to help you manage your pain and improve your quality of life.
Our Acute inpatient pain service gives high-quality care to patients with acute pain, post-operative pain and ongoing complex pain needs. In addition, we give support and management to those patients who receive Intravenous Patient-Controlled Analgesia (IVPCA), Epidural and Local Anaesthetic. The Acute Inpatient pain services is available across all five hospitals at NHS Humber Health Partnership (Castle Hill Hospital, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, Goole and District Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary and Scunthorpe General Hospital)
Our Chronic pain service offers a range of out-patients services at Castle Hill Hospital, and clinics also at East Riding Community Hospital to help patients living with ongoing long-term pain.

Where are pain clinics held?
Our acute pain service covers all five hospitals; Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital, Goole and District Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.
The chronic pain service is based at Castle Hill Hospital and some outpatient services and acupuncture clinics take place at East Riding Community Hospital
