Our plans
Our number one priority will always be to give you and your loved ones the best possible care – and this is an overview of our plans to invest in the buildings and facilities we need to do it.
We are investing £130 million in new, purpose-built areas at our hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole.
To do this, we are working closely with our clinical experts every step of the way, to ensure that these new facilities have the space and equipment they need to give you that care.
At the heart of this work are our Emergency Departments at Grimsby and Scunthorpe, which are being completely transformed.
Brand new CT and MRI scanner suites at Grimsby are already complete, doubling our capability to carry out this kind of treatment in North East Lincolnshire, and, at Scunthorpe we’re in the process of extending our MRI suite.
We’re also doing all we can to improve the environment in and around our hospitals for you and our staff, investing in sustainable energy solutions and cutting our CO2 emissions by 5,000 tonnes a year.
