High demand on our services

Our hospitals are experiencing very high levels of demand. Those attending A&E who do not require urgent emergency treatment may have a long wait to be seen as we prioritise the patients most in need. To anyone considering coming to A&E, please only attend if it is absolutely necessary and consider alternative options for minor ailments, such as visiting your GP or pharmacist. If you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do, please call NHS 111 for advice.

Serving people across North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire and West and East Lindsey.

About the Trust

We're going digital with appointment and admission letters

We're going live with digital letters for appointments and admissions. You'll be able to open your letter on your smartphone and respond to say if you'll be attending, need to cancel or want to request a new date

Access your video consultation

Some of our appointments can be done over video call, saving you travel time and expenses. We have virtual receptionists to make your appointment run smoothly.

We're investing £130million to improve our hospitals

We're investing in your future by making big improvements to our hospitals in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. Our ambitious plans including building two new A&E departments.
