We’ll be telling people all about it – and our plans for the future – at our Annual Members meeting, which we’re holding on Thursday, 29 September, from 2pm to 5pm at the Sands Venue (Glanford Park), Scunthorpe, and we would love it if you could join us.
As part of the meeting, Operational Matron Natalie Till will be giving you a behind the scenes tour of our new Grimsby Emergency Department, which will be open to patients next month*. She will also be available to answer questions about the new department and the future of emergency care in our area.
We will be welcoming a special guest, Chairwoman of our Integrated Care System Sue Symington, who will be talking about how our Trust and others across North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire will be working together in the future.
And finally, we will be reporting back to you on our financial position, and you will have the chance to pose questions to our CEO Peter Reading and Chairman of the Trust Board, Sean Lyons.
If you can’t make it there in person you also have the option of dialling into the event remotely using your computer or smart device. This is a first for us and something we are hoping to do more of in the future, to make our meetings more accessible.
If you would like to join us, all you have to do is click on the link from 2pm on Thursday, 29 September.
*Note to members of the media. We will be in touch regarding an opportunity to come and visit the unit prior to opening day. Please contact Sarah Howson to request to be added to our list of attendees.
