You can get involved in research in a number of different ways including;
- Being invited to become involved in a study if you attend our hospital
- Being invited onto groups which look at which topics should be researched in the future
- Being invited to contribute to the development of a specific research study to ensure that the research is relevant to people’s needs and concerns

ELSA Study
Would you like to know if your child is at risk of developing type 1 diabetes? We’re looking for children aged three to 13 to take part in our research trial. Appointments can be made at the children’s outpatients departments at Scunthorpe and Grimsby hospital.
