If you’ve received an outpatient appointment letter recently you’ll know we now send these via text message with a link to an online portal – where you can view your appointment letter and confirm, cancel or rebook in the click of a button.
Previously if you didn’t access your letter within 24 hours the system would automatically generate a paper copy. We’ve listened to patient feedback and are now extending this to 48 hours.
Changed your mobile number? Please let us know so we can continue to send appointment letters digitally.
Never had a digital letter? We’re currently using them for outpatient appointments, but will soon be rolling them out for overnight hospital stays and day case appointments too.
