While we have been able to reopen visiting at Grimsby Hospital in many areas, temporary visiting restrictions are still in place in some areas to protect vulnerable patients.
If you have a friend or loved one on our Amethyst or B6 wards, it is only possible for you to come and visit if your name has been registered with us AND your loved one:
- is being given end of life care
- is vulnerable and, as a result of being admitted, their emotional or mental wellbeing has been significantly impacted
- has communication difficulties, learning disabilities or dementia
We appreciate that visiting restrictions are hard for you and your loved ones and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Our priority is to keep patients, staff and visitors as safe as possible.
If you have any queries, please contact the wards directly.
