What is physiological measurement?
There are eight different disciplines/areas within physiological measurement, and our team perform around 300 different specialist tests.
We carry out six of the eight possible specialities within our department. They are:
- Audiology procedures
- Bone densitometry assessments
- Neurophysiology
- Respiratory physiology
- Urodynamics investigations
- Vascular assessment
Our department is led by the Head of Physiological Measurements and the team includes clinical physiologists, assistant practitioners, and students. The department is also actively supported by consultant physicians from various disciplines.
