Please keep our patients and staff safe by not visiting if you are unwell.
Inpatients
Patients are welcome to have two visitors join them during visiting hours from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm – some wards may differ so please check before visiting.
Additional visiting for our vulnerable patients will continue and can be arranged by contacting the ward directly.
You may be advised by staff to wear a face mask if:
- The patient you’re visiting has a suspected of confirmed respiratory illness
- The patient you are visiting is highly vulnerable e.g. immunocompromised
- You have cold symptoms but are well enough to visit
As ever, we ask for one person to contact the ward for updates and share information with family and friends with the permission of the patient. This will help keep our staff free to provide care to your loved one and other patients.
Our visiting policy and restrictions will continue to be reviewed regularly in line with local statistics and national guidance. Any further updates to our visiting policy will be shared on this website page and our social media channels.
Due to ongoing building works, car parking will be limited at both Scunthorpe and Grimsby hospital. Where possible, you are encouraged to consider alternative means of transport.
The Patient Experience team can also help you keep in touch with someone in hospital, please email nlg-tr.patientexperience@nhs.net for support or check the Coronavirus page for more information.
